In planning out the costumes and props beforehand i was able to provide a more realistic use of mise-en-scene. Through doing so i have learnt that:
- Planning out the props ensures that i can film every scene which i intended too without any disruptions to the project.
- Every prop which i used was a vital part of the storyline so if i had forgotten any of them then the trailer would have been less convincing. For example the fake arm is very important to the story as it reinforces the comedy aspect of the film. Without this prop this message wouldn't be as clear and could give the audience a wrong indication as to what the film is about.
